RFD discussion: August 2017[edit]

The following information has failed Wiktionary's deletion process (permalink).

It should not be re-entered without careful consideration.

There is a spelling error; your instead of one's. There is also a page called air one's dirty laundry in the public. Should be deleted. --TNMPChannel (talk) 15:16, 6 August 2017 (UTC)Reply

I'd rather redirect the your-entry to the one's-entry: people will often search it under that term, I think. --Dan Polansky (talk) 15:48, 6 August 2017 (UTC)Reply

Archiving discussions not closed[edit]

Discussion moved from User talk:Sgconlaw.

Greetings, "Talk:air your dirty laundry in the public" was not closed: it was not striken out and it did not contain a closing statement in boldface, like "RFD kept" or "RFD deleted". Therefore, it should not have been archived. --Dan Polansky (talk) 05:32, 26 August 2017 (UTC)Reply

Hmmm. The entry had been deleted by SemperBlotto on 7 August 2017 and no further discussion had taken place since your comment on 8 August 2017, so I thought the matter was closed. It is not uncommon that editors who deal with entries listed at RFD forget to add a closing statement and/or to strike out section headings. — SGconlaw (talk) 18:01, 27 August 2017 (UTC)Reply
