Old English pronunciation[edit]

Is the pronunciation of the Old English correct? There was a change from /ˈɑːskiɑn/ to /ˈɑːʃiɑn/, but I've seen this as the "classic" example of an exception of the rule about C being pronounced /ʃ/ before I, and that it is /ˈɑːskiɑn/. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 86.47.160.33 (talkcontribs) 16:53, 29 September 2008 (UTC)
