Etymology[edit]

Is this etymology correct? The Old English word seemed to have two definitions and etymologies and right now it says that it has the same origin as "eel" and is a cognate to all Germanic words meaning "eel". Is that really correct? --Lundgren8 (t · c) 09:58, 17 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]
