Albanian etymology[edit]

Again this is taken from Orel, a stubborn enemy of Pokorny. Following Lucht, both, the Irish and Russion forms lead back to PIE * bhreus, which can also be compared to Germanic 'Brust, brost, English breast'. The Albanian form can rather be derived from PIE *bharekʷ 'jammed' (cf. Holm in JIES 2011). 195.4.79.254 16:42, 3 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]
