@Mar vin kaiser: The Chan-Yap paper isn't exactly clear. It says:

"bataw

pà+taǔ 'climbing plant with edible pods'; (巴豆 'same') bátaw 'same'"

@Mar vin kaiser btw, found the more likely matching term for this. 肉豆 (bah-tāu) as per 1973 Embree & 1976 Maryknoll from ChhoeTaigi and also page 649 of 闽南方言大词典 says "【肉豆】（厦漳）bah^7-3tau⁶ 一种豆名。" Mlgc1998 (talk) 15:56, 13 February 2022 (UTC)
