@Canonicalization: In Britain, I would say "old-fashioned" is too strong for either, although young people probably use these expressions less than older people. However, now you've mentioned blazes, I'm wondering whether we really need this separate entry at all, since at blazes it says "For the sense of hell, a very common intensifier is 'blue'."
