References vs Further reading[edit]

@Mahagaja, why did you change the References section heading into Further reading? According to Wiktionary:Entry layout#Further reading:

This section is not meant to prove the validity of what is being stated on the Wiktionary entries (the “References” section serves that purpose).

The links here provide some resources for verification of the etymology provided here, not any additional useful information about the Scottish Gaelic word per se (or at least that’s how they were intended). Am I misinterpreting the aims of the References and Further reading sections here? // Silmeth @talk 08:44, 19 July 2022 (UTC)Reply

I usually use the ===References=== heading only in conjunction with the <references/> tag. If a source is being used to validate a specific claim, it's probably best to use the <ref>...</ref> tags to indicate what precisely it's validating. —Mahāgaja · talk 08:55, 19 July 2022 (UTC)Reply
