Papiamentu is a creole based mainly on Spanish and Portuguese, so the entry is probably correct. —Stephen 18:55, 24 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I'm marking this RFV passed, because it's plausible, and I don't think the fact that no one here knows Papiamentu should count against it (though it does raise questions about how this section came to be).
