Cantheism is the spiritual use of cannabis. A simple example, found in the writings of the Cannabis Assembly, would be using cannabis "either as part of your meditation or prayer or to achieve a relaxed mental balance to carry out any aspect of your chosen religion"

The use of cannabis in religion dates back to pre-4000ad and Cantheists believe it to be the original sacrament of many beliefs including Judaism, Christianity, Islam, Hinduism, Buddhism, Rastafarianism, and many smaller local religions.
