In Latinsk ordbok : latin – norsk (4th edition, Cappelen, Oslo 1998, p. 121, column Ⅱ) combūrō is listed as such: “combūrō, ussī, ust., 3. (co-ambūrō).” In other words, the etymology listed here cannot be correct, can it?
