Is it correct to have this article include a definition for the phrase "be deafened"?? The word is unusual since similar constructions are ergative but deafen is not ergative, so it's probably useful to somehow indicate this, maybe it'd be better as a usage note or something though. I don't think this is really necessary, as even ergative verbs can be used in passive form. Perhaps a usage note would be appropriate if you feel that it deserves that kind of attention. Algrif 13:46, 17 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]
