Talk:decapacitate
This page is a special case. I had mixed emotions when I first came upon it. At first I was relieved to find a word I had spent a long time searching for, in the form that I thought it was spelled. However, moments later I definitively verified that the actual word I was searching for was in fact: incapacitated. Thus, the page as was incorrect in the form that I originally found it. It then occurred to me that the page could still serve the purpose of redirecting everyone searching for the correct spelling of the seemingly elusive word, especially since I did not find the internet to have a page prominent in search engines which redirected spelling attempts of the word to the correct form. Thus, I took it into my own hands to refashion the page as such. I do not know whether if the good folks at wicki would have proffered that the original incorrect entry was deleted, instead of turning it into a re-directer; but if they do, perhaps a harmony could be found by making a footnote on the already existent page "Incapacitate", detailing the obviously common misunderstanding of the word? --Chesterton 01:17, 26 May 2010 (UTC)
