I believe the only way to understand the use of this word, in relation to its use in Genesis 1:26-28 is to see it as parent-child relation. Not to dominate, but to hold responsibility over, so I added the word stewardship. And more specifically as a perfect and loving parent would care for their (pure) children. A relationship ultimately of wisdom over purity. --MarkJanssen
