In hungarian it is important to note that "eb" is now only used officially (except for ancient "bon-mot" phrases), while kutya is used informally. Thus, a hungarian municipial government would enact an "ebrendelet" or ordinance to regulate modes of keeping and walking dogs in a town, while dog food is kutyaeledel. Thus it would be fitting to say "eb / kutya" dichtomy in hungarian is mostly the same as "canine / dog" in english. 195.184.22.129 18:29, 9 February 2019 (UTC)Reply
