Evelyn's Numism[edit]

This is a usage example I cited for ectype, from an old compact OED as it appears there:

1697, Evelyn Numism. v. 196 Sent the Ectype of a Medal to Sir Robt. Cotton.

Does anyone know what this is? I can't find the actual source book online, or even any results specifically for the word "Numism". It's not even in my OED. My only real lead is "numismatics", which appears online and in the OED as "the study of coins." I was also wondering if there was maybe some history with the word "number"--idk, just a hunch. @Dimimegesis:
1697, J[ohn] Evelyn, “Of Inscriptions”, in Numismata. A Discourse of Medals, Antient and Modern. [], London: [] Benj[amin] Tooke [], →OCLC, page 196:
Peireskius sent the Ectype of a Medal to Sir Robert Cotton, in which Britannia was with both a double and single N.
