Redundancy

It's just the transitivity which is different, but it can be important enough to split the definitions. But we have tags like {{ambitransitive}} too. Mglovesfun (talk) 12:41, 4 May 2012 (UTC)Reply

Programming

The term expand is used in programming. On a tutorial for PHP:

Unlike the double-quoted and heredoc syntaxes, variables and escape sequences for special characters will not be expanded when they occur in single quoted strings.

I really wish there was an explanation about this on this page... can anyone help?
