Unit of heat, not heat rate

[edit]

A frigorie is a unit of (negative) heat equivalent to minus one kilocalorie, not a unit of heat extraction rate – that'd be one frigorie per hour – even if it is often (erroneously) used in that way. (If anything, that should be the second meaning.) Additionally, it should be clarified that it's a negative kilocalorie (or "large calorie"). —Cousteau (talk) 11:57, 10 August 2022 (UTC)Reply

Symbol

[edit]

The entry states that the symbol for the frigorie is fg (and links to it), however, the entry for fg only mentions the femtogram. The link should be corrected or removed, or a second meaning for "frigorie" added to fg. —Cousteau (talk) 12:02, 10 August 2022 (UTC)Reply
