No umlaut in Faroese?

Is the feminine singular nominative / neuter plural nominative/accusative really not *gløð (+ dative masculine/neuter singular and all genders plural *gløðum and so on), in this word, or is it just an error stemming from using the normal adjectival template for Faroese, forgetting to use one that takes this into account?
