I'm not feeling ambitious enough to hunt down a citation, and therefore I'm not going to change it, but the etymology listed here for this phrase is incorrect: I'm not sure when it's first attested, but "auribus teneo lupum" was a common phrase at least as far back as the Roman Republic.
