I'm not sure quite how to prove this, but I believe there is a subtle distnction between bullshit and horseshit, namely that horseshit is more likely to stem from ignorance or self-delusion, while calling something bullshit implies there was an attempt to deceive. I've gone ahead and tried to work this in, but as usual I welcome more definitive evidence either way. -dmh 03:51, 21 Jan 2005 (UTC)

Yes I agree.Horseshit is usually a false idea or notion .Bullshit is a false idea that has been dressed as true.What the entomology might be is that because a horse is more intelligent that a cow then the smarter horse would of course have smarter ideas that were stupid whereas the bull would just lie.Horseshit definitely stinks more, don't you think?
