Etymology from Italian

[edit]

It would be worth clarifying when this word was borrowed from Italian. At some point this term might have been used in Italian, cf. http://www.treccani.it/enciclopedia/in-petto_(Enciclopedia-Italiana)/ , but I don't see it in current dictionaries except with different meanings (cf. [1]) and nowadays in Italian I mostly encounter in pectore. --Nemo 13:13, 5 May 2017 (UTC)Reply
