First Definition[edit]

The first definition claims that intercalation refers to the added period rather than the addition of that period. I've never encountered this use. Either a quote or other supporting evidence is needed or the definition needs to be modified. Karl Palmen (talk) 15:34, 12 February 2024 (UTC)Reply
