Talk:laggardly

From Wiktionary, the free dictionary

It was in the list of missing basic words. It is listed at dictinary.com. But is this really a word? Can someone use it in a sentence (because I can't think of an example off hand).

  • Ajective: "Laggardly workers waste big money for their employers" [1]; "Computer security experts lament laggardly pace of patches"; [2]
  • Adverb (much harder to find with google): "Jerusalem laggardly prepares for elections" [3]; "That order wasn't issued until Thursday, the same day President Bush laggardly requested $10.5 billion in emergency aid" [4]
