-nes/-ness[edit]
This page may need to be moved if the suffix is indeed -ness. Otherwise the langsumnes terms at B&T look like inflections. Anglish4699 (talk) 06:19, 13 January 2018 (UTC)
- The OE suffix -nes came in both forms: -nes and -ness in the nominative singular. Both are equal. Leasnam (talk) 06:27, 13 January 2018 (UTC)

- This view from B&T shows just the opposite [[1]]. Even though the headword is with -ness, all actual uses in the nominative show just one s Leasnam (talk) 06:33, 13 January 2018 (UTC)
