Talk:long ways, long lies

I've never heard this idiom pronounced, but in general you would expect it to be /ˌlɔŋ ˈweɪ̯z ˌlɔŋ ˈlaɪ̯z/ rather than /ˈlɔŋ ˌweɪ̯z ˈlɔŋ ˌlaɪ̯z/, wouldn't you? So perhaps double-check if the stress marks are indeed correct like this. 90.186.83.177 19:17, 1 June 2021 (UTC)
