In my copy of Dante's Divine Comedy, translated by Henry Cary, copyright 1937, in Canto 14 he spells it with an E on the end. "So fell the eternal fiery flood, wherewith the MARLE glow'd underneath" should another entry be created spelled with an E or is this just a typo in my edition?
- It's not a typo, marle is a valid spelling of the word (though much less common nowadays). I've added it. Ƿidsiþ 13:00, 12 February 2010 (UTC)
