Transitivity and taking an object[edit]
Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't "masturbate" a completely intransitive verb that always implies doing the action to oneself?
I have seen, in several articles on this website as well as elsewhere, a transitive usage of the verb, with the object being the person who is being stimulated (for example, the sentence "He masturbated her"). Is this usage incorrect, proscribed, or is it correct and I'm entirely off the mark? Lunaibis (talk) 01:11, 25 March 2013 (UTC)
