Singular/plural[edit]

The entry says that "means" is either a plural or a plurale tantum (which is a plural, too, of course). This is not correct, because the word can be used as a singular, for example when we say: a means to an end". (Plurals can never take the indefinite article in English.) I'm not a grammarian nor even a native speaker, but it's obvious that the entry needs revision. — This unsigned comment was added by 82.83.244.201 (talk) at 16:57, 17 September 2012‎ (UTC).[reply]
