Missing entry for synonym[edit]

Should there be entries for "shit up", "shitting up", etc., which mean "mess up", "messing up"? --User123o987name (talk) 20:53, 10 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]

"shit_up" was created in 20:57, 10 June 2019‎.

Example:

"[...] Christianity think [sic] God has nothing to do with them. He is someone who turns water into wine. They just go on shitting up the world and feel no responsibility for their character or anything they do. It was put so simply and yet supposedly intelligent people could not recognise that. They thought I was at the white man. I don't give a damn" --A gesture of belonging: letters from Bessie Head, 1965-1979

Apparently it also means this:*

"shitting up noun, UK: in prison, a deliberate act of protest by decorating a cell with excrement. * --Angela Devlin, Prison Patter, p. 104, 1996 --The New Partridge Dictionary of Slang and Unconventional English, June 26, 2015

*IDK if this prison slang should be included here, it is really just a more specific meaning of sense #2 of shit_up

IDK if "shitted up" or "shits up" have much attestation. --User123o987name (talk) 21:10, 10 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]
