MHG - Note

[edit]

Wright's MHG Primer doesn't mention this form, but only "michelme, michel(e)m", and so do some other grammar books. A few other grammar books mention this form, but note that one could still find this form in the 12th century, sounding like it was rarer then and later became uncommon (1, 2). And of course, one can find usages of this form like "der iu alle tage nâhôt / mit micheleme zorne". -eXplodit (talk) 23:54, 31 July 2015 (UTC)Reply
