Milder is not a word, you can't just add an "er" to a word, and call it a word. Milder, firmer, bolder... all not words. Look them up in a college dictionary.

So its use in works by Charles Dickens, Charles Darwin, Edgar Allan Poe, James Fenimore Cooper, F. Scott Fitzgerald, Washington Irving, and Jack London, as well as the Federalist Papers, is just a fluke then? You mean to say that your "college dictionary" overrules actual use in major works of English and American literature? --EncycloPetey 23:42, 29 March 2009 (UTC)Reply
