Talk:muts

From Wiktionary, the free dictionary

Why is this article here, in en.wiki? It is inadequate and contains errors. A user would only need it if he/she knew Dutch, in which case the nl.wiki entry is more appropriate.

Problems:

1. "muts" is not "f and m" (feminine and masculine), it's only "f".

2. Although "tuque" may be a correct translation, this is an extremely obscure word in English. The most appropriate translation is "cap" or "bonnet", as given in the Dutch page.

3. The word has several other meanings, which are not given on this page.

This entry should be deleted. Actually, it seems to be functionally invisible, as entering "muts" in the en.wiki home page does not give a hit. The way I found it was from the nl.wiki page. — This unsigned comment was added by Lk777 (talkcontribs) at 5 January 2010..

Surely that's a reason to improve the entry, not delete it. Mglovesfun (talk) 06:25, 5 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]
