I-C-D camp divide and meaning shift in English and Polish

[edit]

I wanted to write more nuanced discussion here but someone did not wait for me to do that.

That traditionally you could distinguish I-C~D in Polish while (I+C)-D in English.

I scraped that after that someone scraped my revision by again "simpletoning" the discussion: "read English entry" I get that English C.camp contains Polish "Obóz Koncentracyjny" but this did not happen because "that's translation" - Polish "Obóz Koncentracyjny" (with meaning that was closer to English death camp than to concentration camp) was instead hyponym of English C. camp. That created distinct Polish obóz zagłady/obóz śmierci (which definition "a place of immediate mass extermination of entire groups of the population" I translated from SJP at time of first revision, but after looking again into WSJP and PWN(SJP) they now "simpletoned" that meanings with C+D merger without deciding what is meaning - SJP with meaning of D while WSJP with meaning of C - now since we have "read English entry" person here: deal with that SJP/WSJP bs - because I lost any motivation for that. 31.183.234.198 18:07, 5 August 2022 (UTC) edited 31.183.234.198 18:24, 5 August 2022 (UTC)Reply

So add a second definition line. The way you were editing the entry before rendered it nigh unusable and unclear with bad formatting and weird English. Vininn126 (talk) 18:31, 5 August 2022 (UTC)Reply
