How should RPG usage be indicated?[edit]

Role-playing games use "in character" and "out of character" in a way very similar to the usage in drama. I attempted to note these usages, but my edits are being reverted, apparently because of the similarity of the definitions. Role-playing games are not commonly considered a form of drama, however, and "role-playing game session" is certainly not a subset of "theatrical performance". The definitions as given provide no hint that the RPG usage exists. If it should not be indicated by a parallel set of contextual definitions, how should it be indicated? —68.37.38.234 08:17, 7 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]
