Pitch (resin)[edit]

"Pitch" in "pitch-black" arguably comes from the black colour of Pitch (resin). I don't know where I would put this into the entry, would someone else do that? -M.nelson 16:49, 25 March 2009 (UTC)

Addition of citations.[edit]

I think we should create and add some citations on the citations page. The reason behind this is that, there are many citations for pitch-black. Also, I think that citations with the alternate form pitchblack, should be used here as well since it is the same meaning and is just an alternate form of the word. I have actually created a disscussion page for the word pitchblack, to discuss about a redirect to this word. So, once created there will be citations for pitch-black and pitchblack on the citations page for pitch-black.
