I have heard the word points used in three senses I can not find written down anywhere: 1. The end of the clavicle closest to the neck. The the muscles of the chest are small and undeveloped these ends are visible. These 'points' are a sign of an skinny, immature, weak person. 2. In the fifties, when gang members aspired to own and wear black leather jackets, the jackets were often decorated with small rectangular pyramid shaped silver colored metal bits. They could be purchased, often at Army surplus stores, by anyone with enough money but that would have been presumptuous. Instead, they were awarded to members in recognition of feats of courage and valor. As a result, the jackets of senior gang members, leaders and elders were festooned with these points and the jackets of younger members were bare. 3. Points referred to a woman's breasts specifically the nipples. This is the usage referred to in the Bob Seger song Night Moves in the first verse.
