purveuest[edit]

I'm curious to what the source for this is, and why it would mean 'it is provided' the passive voice in Old French is the same as in French, so 'provided' is just 'purveu' (and its variants). It seem unnecessary anyway as purview clearly comes from purveu, not this, which ends -st. Renard Migrant (talk) 11:19, 31 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]
