In response to the request on the page for suggestions, please check this word ("pusi") in Mundari (a language spoken by Munda people in NE India)

pusi=cat occurs in song lyrics. Source: Musical Culture of the Munda Tribe by Sem Topno, Concept Publishing Company, New Delhi, first published 2004. Sourced via Google Books.

Possibly a borrowing from English, eg pusi-cat. But wouldn't a language as old as Mundari have its own word for cat? Could just be coincidence.
