The portuguese translation for the "mathematics: line extending indefinitely in one direction from a point" meaning is equivocated. It states that "ray" means "raio" in portuguese, which is not true. "Raio", among others, means "radius" in portuguese.

Em português falamos de "raio de luz", de roda, de relâmpago, &c. Raio means ray, bolt, spoke, radius, etc. It seems to be right. —Stephen 22:08, 15 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]
