intransitive : return[edit]

intransitive : to return to a subject in speech, writing, or thought (literary) --Backinstadiums (talk) 08:22, 18 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Usage note: recur again[edit]

As the idea of again is an integral part of the meaning of recur, it is unnecessary to say things like "The disease recurred again." Simply say "recurred." Microsoft® Encarta® 2009 JMGN (talk) 09:56, 4 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
