Medicine[edit]

What does it mean in a medical context used like "(symptom) refractory to (drug)"? —This unsigned comment was added by 71.132.153.2 (talkcontribs) 2006-06-01 04:33:27.

It means that the symptom is not treatable by the drug. I added "medicine" to the applicable sense. Rod (A. Smith) 18:45, 5 June 2006 (UTC)
