Hmm, the current definition (as I read it) implies it is a physical action, but my understanding (as a native speaker) is that it is a mental state (though grammatically an action) that may or may not lead to physical action. I would like to propose an alternative definition: To desire a particular outcome, or the success of a particular person or group. - excarnateSojourner (talk | contrib) 18:48, 8 March 2022 (UTC)
