The etymology for Finnish its not supported by linked articles

For the meaning 'group of people' in Finnish, the linked articles with supposed ancestors of the word do not support the claimed etymology. The linked articles only concern the meaning related to chess. Could someone confirm this is the case? Jonsku99 (talk) 18:28, 25 June 2024 (UTC)Reply
