'secreted' hardly ever used without 'away' after it[edit]

I think this should be noted.

Also, isn't the interpretation that "secreted" comes from "secrete" an instance of confusion? I mean, how does "secrete-d away" make sense? (As opposed to "secret-ed away".)--Tyranny Sue 14:32, 17 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
