Talk:shamen

Given the prevalence of "shamen" in actual usage, I believe that a quote from editors of a 1978 magazine that "readers tell us shamen is incorrect" (q.v. Usage Note "shamen" citation) is insufficient to establish correct usage rules. Likewise, that shaman etymology is Russian is a non-sequitur, not a reason for "shamen" being incorrect. Am I missing something?
