the main usage of this term that I've experienced is simply as an interjection, much like how one might say "oh my god" 124.170.61.104 12:58, 17 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I've actually never heard it used that way. I've heard it used to describe someone's reaction. Example: "When they found out their 14 year old daughter was having sex, they totally shit a brick!" -2003:CA:870C:E31:6C83:3E85:69C4:BBF7 11:51, 7 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
