[edit]"Sokwe" seems to have also the meaning "chimpanzee", look here:

On the Swahili Wikipedia, Pan troglodytes (the common chimpanzee) is called "sokwe mtu", see w:sw:Pan. On w:sw:Utamaduni ("culture"), we find "Sokwe (Pan troglodytes na Pan paniscus)" (= w:common chimpanzee and w:bonobo).
