I've heard it said /səˈlɪs.tə/ or perhaps even /ˈslɪs.tə/. Is that an informal variant or is it just a natural sporadic contraction in fast speech? 77.13.223.0 21:46, 24 March 2021 (UTC)Reply

I think "slister" may be restricted to fast speech, but I've often heard "solister". The said spelling is also found quite a bit on the web. I'll add it. 90.186.170.69 02:41, 2 October 2023 (UTC)Reply
