Haven't been able to find a clearly audible use for the singular imperfect. I suppose it's stressed on the first syllable, which is similar to verbs like "ra" or "ġie", which are stressed on the stem in the perfect, but on the prefix in the imperfect. However, one does find a few attestations for the spellings "jistmà", "tistmà", which would indeed be expected if it had final stress.
