I was wondering if it would be OK to insert the literal French translations of to push under, of to push below and of to move underneath something: pousser sous, pousser dessous and déplacer au-dessous (quelque chose). Even my unabridged French-English dictionary doesn't have an entry for subduct. There's a French word subduction, but it means the geological process involving tectonic plates subducting; I wouldn't want to risk extrapolating from that to assume a word like subducter or something similar in French.
